Despre albume şi Simple Minds - Stars Will Lead The Way...

Sunt româncă. Sunt fană depecheMODE, mai mult decât îşi pot imagina unii, chiar dacă doar de 4 ani (cel mult). Dar n-am să postez pe blogu-mi noul lor videoclip, filmat în România. Nu-mi place.
Să vedem. Până acum, anul acesta a adus 5 titluri noi de la trupe care au loc special în inima mea:

1. U2 - No Line On The Horizon. L-am ascultat o singură dată. Get On Your Boots mi se pare kitchioasă, deşi poate versurile sale au o semnificaţie ascunsă. Magnificent mi-a plăcut, îmi aduce un pic aminte de albumul ATYCLB, dar cam atât.

2. Pet Shop Boys - Yes. Cred că l-am ascultat de două ori. Love etc. e catchy, The Way It Used To Be pare-se a fi cea mai bine lucrată melodie de pe album (mă rupe...).

3. Depeche Mode - Sounds Of The Universe. De 3 ori l-am ascultat. N-a funcţionat. Nu a intrat. Sună diferit de ce au făcut până acum. Ok, aşa a fost mereu cu dM... Da, ştiu, dar de data asta nu mi-a plăcut. Să spunem că In Chains mi-a surâs (are un intro mai lunguţ, dar sună bine - bare with it). Altă melodie nu mi-a rămas în minte. Asta nu mă împiedică să vreau să-i văd live atât la noi, cât şi în Bulgaria. Doamne ajută cu reprogramările acelea...
Later edit: Degeaba vreau eu să-i văd, dacă au anulat definitiv 8 concerte, printre care şi cele menţionate mai sus. Mda, e cât se poate de oficial.

4. Simple Minds - Graffiti Soul. Acum este a 3-a oară când îl ascult. Îl diger cum nu se poate mai bine. Are acelaşi stil inconfundabil al lor, are pe lista de singles două melodii fenomenale, o alegere mai bună nici că se putea. Albumul începe cu 3 melodii foarte faine (Moscow Underground, Rockets şi Stars Will Lead The Way) şi treptat face tranziţia către un CD plin de coveruri. Se pare că de data aceasta au preferat să-l ataşeze bonus unui album decât să-l lanseze separat. Din punctul meu de vedere, au avut o inspiraţie bună - deşi sună bine, nu se compară cu Neon Lights din 2001.

5. a-ha - Foot Of The Mountain. L-am ascultat o dată şi pot spune că este bun, synthy şi aduce aminte foarte mult de anii 80 - moartea mea, hehe. Melodia titulară este excepţională, îmi place enorm!

Daţi cu pietre, daţi cu ce vreţi, eu mi-am vărsat oful, căci d-aia mi-am făcut blog, să am unde să aberez. Subiectiv. Se vede bine ce album m-a impresionat până acum...
